Job Type Full-timeDescriptionNew Horizons is the largest mental health and addiction recovery provider on the Treasure Coast (and beyond), serving 15,000 children and adults annually through inpatient crisis services, a 24-hour helpline and mobile response team, and outpatient programs conveniently located across Indian River, Martin, Okeechobee and St. Lucie counties. In addition, New Horizons assists 22,000 students in area schools. We work closely with the courts, law enforcement, jails, and hospitals to help improve the health of individuals and the quality of life in our community.New Horizons is a nonprofit agency seeking a hardworking, motivated RN/Program Manager -for our Adult Stabilization Unit .Our Adult Stabilization Unit works on a 24 hour /7 day a week schedule. This position requires flexibility , days, evenings, overnights and weekends. The Nurse Manager is responsible for the standards of care in the assigned unit. The manager coordinates continuous quality improvement efforts, manages and is responsible for programming and all aspects of care given. The manager is responsible for budget planning, organizing staffing, directing and controlling of all treatment provided on the assigned unit. The manager works collaboratively with other disciplines and departments to improve client care. The manager is responsible for the effective use of human resources and financial objectives as identified by the budget.
