A summary of job responsibilities & expectations include:
Human Resources Responsibilities
  • Collect and process data entry of employee related changes in the HRIS.
  • Maintains accurate employee files & documentation.
  • Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records.
  • Assists with Recruitment and New Employee Onboarding as needed
  • Acts as a liaison between the organization and external benefits providers and vendors, which may include health, disability and retirement plan providers.
  • Maintain electronic forms, documents, calendars.
  • Assists with recruitment/interview processes.
  • Assists or prepares correspondence as request
  • Assists with reconciliation of benefit statements
  • Assigning, tracking and auditing the status of required training, evaluation processes and other regulatory requirements
  • Following up with employees regarding the status of various requirements
  • Complete record requests
Internal & External Customer Service
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex questions to appropriate HR team member.
  • Communicatees in a professional, positive and helpful manner
  • Complete verifications of employment (verbal and written requests)
Events/Engagement
  • Assists with planning and execution of special events including: Open Enrollment, Company meetings, Employee Recognition events, Holiday Parties & Celebrations.
Other Responsibilities
  • Create and distribute employee name badges
  • Running reports and providing some analysis
  • Other related duties as assigned.
Requirements

Experience
  • 1-3 years of relevant job experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Exceptional organizational skills & attention to detail
  • Able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Preferred: Experience in a HR related position
  • Preferred: Familiarity with health benefit plans
Education
  • High school diploma required.
  • Preferred: Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or related field preferred


Salary Description

$19-$21/hour
