HVAC Sheet Metal ForemanWe are seeking a full time sheet metal mechanic who can manage commercial mechanical construction projects and assists with project needs including material management, personnel, schedules and communication with the project management team, customers and building officials. Has experience and ability to fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Knowledge of project schedule/milestones, submittals, contract documents (addenda, specifications, drawings) and in-house shop drawing. Ability to coordinate with other trades to complete HVAC/piping installations within the project scope and schedule. Manage project crews to install multiple types of HVAC and Duct Systems. Accountable for the safe performance of personnel and equipment. Understanding/complies with the company tool policy and can pass these values to less experienced employees. Actively involved with completing paperwork and daily reports, next week's plans, accident report, disciplinary reports, etc. Must be able to Install Ductwork per SMACNA standards, ATU, RTU and Split SystemsEducation, Training, Licenses and/or Certifications: Minimum 5 years experience as mechanical foreman on commercial HVAC construction projects Must be able to read blueprints and follow instructions Master or Journeyman HVAC Tradesman Certification preferred but not required Must be able to work 40 hours every week and overtime as needed Must have reliable transportation Must be able to Install Ductwork per SMACNA standards, ATU, RTU and Split Systems OSHA 30-Hour certification preferredOther Requirements: Punctual and regular attendance with professional demeanor and positive, caring attitude Ability to work on a team and interact with people while maintaining a positive, cooperative and teachable attitude Complies and promotes company Safety policies Must have the ability to travel to job sites and occasionally have overnight stays Any other duties assigned by the supervisor Initiative; self-motivated (driven), self-starter Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written Ability to complete required documentation electronically Analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to work independently and without supervision Ability to stand, squat, bend, kneel, climb, and comfortably lift up to 50 lbs Follow and adhere to all company policies and procedures Have hand tools and power tools Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy Must be able to pass a background check and drug test in accordance to our Company Substance Abuse Policy Must be able to pass a post-employment fitness test We are proud to offer our Team Members: Competitive pay and incentives Medical, Vision, Dental Paid holidays and flexible, generous PTO - 2 weeks after 90 days, opportunity to gain up to 5 weeks 401(k) Plan with multiple investment options Training and Development Programs Company-paid Employee Assistance Program Employee discount programs Company-paid and voluntary life insurance Company-paid and voluntary accidental death & dismemberment (AD&D) Company-paid short-term disability and voluntary long-term disability Healthcare reimbursement account and dependent care reimbursement account Health savings account with company contributions Vehicle discount purchase programsDisclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this job.
