The Goals and Challenges of this Role:
  • Review and approval of drawings and models created by other members of the engineering team.
  • Develop tooling, fixtures, drawings and procedures working with internal resources as well as external vendors.
  • Develop and improve manufacturing utilizing knowledge of manufacturing equipment, assembly techniques and quality control.
  • Assure product and process quality through testing methods, establishing and revising standards and manufacturing processes.
  • Apply Basic Engineering Principles.
  • Develop complete and accurate documentation of existing as well as new manufacturing processes and product introduction.
  • Work with Project Managers to implement manufacturing drawings, instructions and timelines.
  • Create 3D Engineering Models of Components and Assemblies
  • Create 2D Technical Drawings for Fabrication
What You Should Bring to this Role:
  • 3-5 years manufacturing, quality or process improvement experience
  • BS degree in areas related to manufacturing, industrial engineering, engineering technology or relevant experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and drive change through the organization.
  • Proficiency with Autodesk AutoCAD and Inventor, MS Office tools, and CMM inspection software and equipment.
  • Inventor (or SolidWorks) and AutoCAD proficient
  • Understanding of ASME/ASTM Drawing Standards
  • GD&T experience is a plus
  • Experience with Inventor Sheet Metal Tools is a plus
