Job description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented IT Administrator and Compliance Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting and maintaining our IT infrastructure consisting of laptops, cloud business apps, office networking while ensuring compliance with SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO standards. This role requires a strong understanding of IT systems, security protocols and best practices along with applicable regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for executing IT compliance/audit/regulatory risk reviews and serving as the key contact within the business
  • Conduct routine audits of user accounts, access logs, email threats, network threats and software licensing compliance auditing
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures to maintain compliance with SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO standards
  • Stay up to date on changes to regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to IT security and compliance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that compliance requirements are integrated into all projects and initiatives for the business
  • Provide end user software and hardware provisioning and support for Dell and Apple systems
  • Cloud app administration and provisioning for M365 / Azure / Jump Cloud / Ninja One and various other business applications
  • Evaluate system licenses and provide opportunities for rationalization
  • Support Single Sign-on using Active Directory with MFA
  • Responsible and accountable for the administration of the M365 Platform including SharePoint, MS Teams, OneNote, OneDrive, and O365 services including Azure AD Connect and InTune
  • Perform routine audits of user access and configurations to Microsoft 365 / Azure and endpoint policies aligned to industry best practices and compliance standards for ISO / SOC
  • Basic network administration for small offices with wired / wireless infrastructure, conf rooms, badge system and IoT devices
  • Utilize expertise to develop new or improve existing IT systems and solutions aligned to the business' needs with a goal of improving efficiency, cost savings and end user satisfaction
  • Monitor and analyze system performance, security and usage metrics to identify and resolve issues proactively
  • Emphasize safety and security of AspireHR systems and content through education, quarterly training and communication to the organization
  • Other duties as assigned
Key Selection Criteria
  • 3+ years of experience in IT administration and support, with a focus on security and compliance
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience administering MS365 / Azure cloud environment, specific to Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online
  • Experience with SOC 1, SOC 2, and ISO standards, implementing, auditing, and maintaining policies and processes
  • Experience conducting risk assessments, audits, compliance reviews and maintaining security controls
  • Holding or pursuing MS Azure / M365 certifications strongly preferred
  • Holding or pursuing certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, Security+ are a plus
  • Experience with AWS / SAP / Apache / WordPress is a plus
  • Experience with ITIL / Change and Release management is a plus
  • Must be a self-starter with the ability to troubleshoot independently with logic and intellect
  • Experience working with cross functional support team with ITSM tools strongly preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
