How will you make an impact?
As a Senior Talent Management Partner, you will be responsible for developing and managing the talent practice initiatives and processes including Performance Management, Talent Assessment, Succession Planning and Development. The role plans for short and long-term needs, ensuring we have talent to support MGIC’s business objectives.This position is based in Milwaukee, WI. Hybrid environment (3 days in the office, and 2 days remote).
Lead the re-imagination of the company’s performance management, talent assessment and succession planning processes.
Plan, define and validate the philosophy and approach for various talent-related efforts (performance management, succession planning, success profiles) in collaboration with HRBPs and leaders.
Influence and guide the creation of a skills database and development of career paths for critical roles.
In partnership with the businesses and the broader HR team, work to provide thought leadership around the design, launch and delivery of various talent management solutions.
Lead efforts in the design of talent programs utilizing modern and consistent methodologies.
Guide, partner and educate HRBPs in administering talent processes such as talent assessment, succession planning and performance review.
Plan, design, and develop implementation strategies for learning and development programs and create supporting materials to ensure successful implementation.
Partners closely with HRBPs and leadership to evaluate and utilize assessment tools.
Lead and drive a calendar of development curated content, offerings, and events.
Working with HR to identify top talent and secure nominations for programs i.e. MBA Future Leaders, etc.
Responsible for collating feedback and establishing KPIs to measure success of initiatives and programs.
Proactively address and respond to results of annual talent assessment and succession planning process by bringing key stakeholders together to assess appropriate strategies and courses of action to secure talent readiness and support development.
Develop, maintain, and oversee vendor relationships including logistics, content development, delivery and e-learning.
Keep abreast of market driven talent practices, organizational development and learning research.
Facilitate in-person or virtual sessions as needed.

Experience: 7+ years of recent talent development/management experience Required Skills:
Interpersonal and relationship management skills
Effective communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to create and delivery talent practice solutions
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
Exceptional problem solving, decision-making and quantitative skills
Broad understanding of HR best practices, principles, and functions
Required Knowledge:
Direct experience managing learning, talent and organizational development projects
Able to execute components of the complete cycle of talent solutions; including needs assessment, development, implementation and measuring impact
Experience using data to assess needs, analyze impact and surface insights for management
