Our client is a luxury hotel management company with 20 hotels in the US and abroad. They are seeking a highly experienced Vice President of Human Resources to lead the HR strategy and drive a culture of excellence. Position Overview: As the Vice President of Human Resources, you will be responsible for driving the HR strategy and operations that support the company’s business objectives and enhance the organizational culture. You will play a pivotal role in shaping HR practices, developing talent strategies, and ensuring that people practices align with business goals and values. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: develop and implement HR strategies that align with business goals and enhance organizational effectiveness. Talent Management: oversee strategies for acquiring, developing, and retaining talent to build a high-performing team. Employee Relations: foster a positive work environment and address team concerns to maintain high employee engagement and satisfaction. Compensation and Benefits: create and manage competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent. Organizational Development: lead efforts to improve organizational structure, culture, and change management practices. Compliance and Risk Management: ensure adherence to labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, while managing HR-related risks. Leadership and Team Development: mentor and support the HR team, fostering professional growth and a collaborative work culture. Data-Driven Decision Making: utilize HR metrics and analytics to guide strategic decisions and assess the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required, Master’s or law degree highly preferred. Proven experience as a senior HR leader, preferably as a VP of HR or similar role in the hospitality industry. Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results. Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations. Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to problem-solving.
