The Clinical Assistant will be responsible for: Assisting clinician during examinations in a fast paced environment (i.e. obtaining, measuring and recording routine information such as temperature and blood pressure, rooming patients, and performing other related duties according to specific needs of clinic). Assisting with scheduling of appointments. This type of interaction requires courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. Collecting, verifying and recording required information according to established procedures and instructions. Identifying and reporting unusual findings or changes in patient condition to Registered Nurse, Physician Assistant or Physician. Obtaining records, files and/or results for appointments and entering related information on appropriate computer systems. Answering, screening and routing telephone calls and performing general office support tasks. Providing general support for clinical operations, including stocking, maintaining and ordering supplies and equipment. Maintaining safety and cleanliness of work area, ensuring area is compliant with regulatory and hospital policies. Transporting patients, supplies and equipment as needed. To qualify, you must have: 1 year of Clinical Assistant experience or related healthcare experience. Pediatric experience strongly preferred. A HS Diploma or equivalent. The ability to work with computer systems Strong communication skills Flexibility and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Ability to rotate between Boston and 2 Brookline Place locations, as well as rotate between Fegan 6 specialties. Ability to work occasional evening hours.
