The ideal candidate for this position has a strong motivation to work in the financial planning field. A foundational knowledge of personal finance, including cash flow management, debt management, investing basics, retirement planning, taxes, insurance, college funding and estate planning is desired, but not required. A commitment to being a fiduciary, a high standard for client service, teamwork, and an enthusiasm for continued education and professional growth are a given in this work environment. Responsibilities: • Gain a thorough understanding of clients’ financial lives and proactively identify issues or opportunities for clients to achieve their financial goals. • Work collaboratively to develop solutions and ensure action items are completed on a specified timeframe for clients. • Follow processes to ensure a consistent high quality of client service. • The role is not predominantly client-facing, but the ideal candidate is comfortable communicating concepts to clients in person, via email and over the phone when needed. • This role does not have production requirements.
