AEITS, a GTSC company, seeks junior Technical Writer for Annapolis Junction, Maryland.

Full-Time

Security Clearance: TS/SCI w/Poly

Certification: None required. Writing examples are required if selected for interview.

Job Description

Technical Writer researches, organizes, writes, edits and produces data and artifacts for use in a wide variety of complex technical publications for mission products.

  • Collect and organize information required for preparation of deliverables, reports, communications materials, and any other required documents.
  • Job includes writing and content generation, as well as editing documents.
  • Candidate is expected to be capable of gathering and consolidating technical input from analysts and other stakeholders, produce logical understandable technical documentation suitable for publication, both public release and/or a large community of mission partners.
  • Candidate will perform content management functions such as document organization using SharePoint and other central stores for documentation.
Qualifications:
  • Strong in document editing, structure and logic flow for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite of products including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Experience with collaboration tools such as Confluence/JIRA, SharePoint, Google Docs.
Writing examples are required if selected for interview.
