The Position Senior Shipping & Logistics Analyst Location Greater Chicago Area Overview: The Senior Shipping & Logistics Analyst is responsible for analyzing and optimizing our company's shipping and logistical processes. This role involves managing inefficiencies in processes, systems, and personnel, as well as negotiating shipping rates and rethinking shipping procedures to increase efficiency and reduce costs. The role will be based at our distribution and fulfillment center in Bolingbrook, IL. Essential Functions: Optimize Ecommerce Shipping Operations:

Develop and implement strategies for efficient direct-to-consumer shipping, utilizing data analytics to track order fulfillment, manage shipping timelines, and minimize shipping costs while ensuring customer satisfaction Manage Vendor/Business Relationships:

This includes supporting vendor/business partner relationships and auditing transportation accessorial charges by carriers and customers Cost Analysis and Reporting:

Develop and maintain cost estimates, forecasts, and models Perform data management, including data mining, modeling, and analysis to support business decisions. Prepare weekly and monthly reports on KPIs and forecasts Process Improvement:

Apply statistical analysis to identify areas for improvement in transportation costs, parts procurement, back orders, or delivery processes. Develop or maintain payment systems to ensure vendor payment accuracy Communication and Collaboration:

Effectively communicate with senior leaders, vendors, and customers.
