Financial Systems Support - Business Analyst - Decatur, IL
This is a full-time, exempt level position.
General
The Financial Systems Support team is part of the Record to Report organization. The team provides system admin and tech support for the Record to Report organization. Applications that are supported include Hyperion and Blackline. The team also provides support for accounting files and processes and works on projects and quick wins to improve the accounting close process.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide system and file support to the Record to Report organization during the accounting close process
- Work with the accounting organization to gather requirements and develop solutions for continuous improvement ideas
- Enhance and build reports and accounting files
- Provide system admin support for Financial Applications
- Work independently with little supervisor intervention
- Work with internal and external auditors to provide audit request items
- Ability to work on a wide variety of projects, in a quickly changing environment
- Effective written and oral communication skills
- Good analytical skills, strong control mindset and problem-solving ability
- Strong organization and prioritization skills
- Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Office Suite
- SQL or IBM DB2 experience
- Microsoft Power BI or other reporting tools experience
- Experience with Hyperion or other large ERP systems is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business Information Systems
- Concentration or minor in Information Systems, or business analysis (BA) certification highly preferred
