The Facilities Coordinator will work closely with various departments and vendors to ensure a safe, sustainable, and functional environment for all employees and members in the Boise area.Essential Functions and Basic Duties:Coordinate and oversee all facility maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and upgradesAssist in the development and implementation of preventative maintenance programs to ensure the longevity of facility assetsManage relationships with external vendors and contractors for facility-related servicesConduct regular inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazardsMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, expenses, and contractsAssist in the monitoring of facility budgets and expenses, identifying cost-saving opportunities where possibleEnsure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsSupports security measures, including access control systems and surveillance camerasRespond promptly to facility-related emergencies and address issues as they ariseCollaborate with department managers to support their facility-related needs and initiativesAssist in remodeling or construction efforts as assigned by Facilities ManagerPerform any and all duties as assigned by Facilities ManagerPerformance Measurements:Timely completion of maintenance tasks, repairs and trainingsAdherence to budgetary constraints and cost-saving initiativesCompliance with health, safety, and environmental regulationsEffectiveness in coordinating with internal stakeholders and external vendorsResponsiveness to facility-related emergencies and issuesMaintains a positive, enthusiastic attitude while representing Westmark, both during and after work hours, in a courteous, professional mannerRequirementsRequired Knowledge and Abilities:Ability to perform general interior and exterior maintenanceComfortable operating power tools such as drills and saws and hand tools such as hammers, pliers, electrical pliers, etc.Knowledge of Carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, painting skills, or construction background Knowledge of facility management best practices and principles.Strong organizational and multitasking skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesWorking knowledge in using computerized ticketing system, or maintenance management systems (CMMS)Familiarity with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulationsAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressureProblem-solving skills and attention to detailFlexibility to adapt to changing priorities and emergenciesLeadership qualities and the ability to work independently as well as part of a teamMinimum Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalentAt least 4 years of experience in facilities maintenance, or a related fieldDemonstrated experience in coordinating maintenance activities and vendor managementProficiency in basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteCapable of lifting 50 pounds, or moreMust be able to travel to various branches in the Boise area as requiredPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience working in a similar role within a corporate, financial or institutional settingFamiliarity with energy management and sustainability practices Salary Description $20.00 - $23.20
