POSITION SUMMARY: This position is under the supervision of the Human Resources Manager and is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day Human Resources operations.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for operational and technical personnel duties

Employment application intake

Facilitates interview process

Ensures all pre-employment screening processes are fulfilled

Maintains electronic employee information and files, data entry

Assists with new employee orientation

Responsible for maintenance of confidential personnel files, personnel actions, preparing recruitment lists and job postings

Employment verifications

Assists Manager with employee/personnel projects, training and benefits administration

Establishes various reports and documents to provide current personnel information

Answers telephones

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED); plus two or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
