Overview

The Carle Neuroscience Institute (CNI) is seeking a Neurosurgery APP to join our group at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois.

Opportunity Details

  • Primarily an inpatient position with some clinic responsibilities
  • Join a growing Neurosurgery team with 5 Neurosurgeons, 3 Neuro-interventional radiologists, 4 daytime Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers and 3 nocturnist Neurosurgery Advanced Practice Providers
  • The APP will be working with 2 neurosurgeons and that will allow practice consistency, education and feedback
  • Schedule is 4 -10 hour shifts
  • Weekend rotation; Weekend coverage 1:5
  • Coordinate ongoing patient care including initial consultations, rounding with the surgeons, follow-ups and provide patient/family education
  • Experience with neurological conditions preferred
  • New graduates are welcome to apply

Education Requirements:

Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant


Licensure/Certification Requirements:

Current Illinois registered nurse license and advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure
