The Security Director will have the final say in all the security team's actions. The Security Director should be able to solve problems, resolve conflicts, track people and gather information from staff, volunteers and attendees. The Security Director will manage training events for the security team. The Security Director oversees moving the offering boxes to the safe and needs full access to the entire facility via keys and access card. The Security Director ensures there are adequate personnel to cover events and assigns work details. The position is also responsible for completing incident reports and reporting findings to the appropriate personnel. This is a leadership position overseeing 20+ church volunteers. The person for this position would be passionate about serving members of the church with a high regard for the importance of safety and security. A personality that can take charge and is an A type personality is well suited for this position. Skills needed include a high level of patience with people, the ability to communicate well, de-escalate situations and problem solving. Strong leadership qualities are needed and the ability to maintain composure under pressure. We would be honored to connect and help you explore the right area to serve. We have personal Ministry Guides who will journey with you to help you find your sweet spot of service.
