IMS Masonry is currently seeking a Safety Manager for construction site in Nashville, TN. We are looking for a reliable Field Safety Manager with 3 to 5 years related experience ensuring employees comply with all safety rules.

This project will run approx 1 year. Must be local - No per diem (travel pay).

$35 - $40 per hour DOE

Duties & Responsibilities:

* Conduct project safety inspections and orientations.

* Monitor and observe worksite. Report back to the safety director with findings and concerns.

* Safety training as required/ scheduled.

* Perform accident investigations and documentation.

* Conduct on site drug screening as needed.

* Ensure all employees and subcontractors are following OSHA and company safety rules and policies.

* Analyze and recommend improvements for safer work practices.

* Other duties as assigned.

Skills / Qualifications

* 3-5 years experience with Safety and Health training.

* OSHA 30 * Required

* OSHA Outreach training - (preferred)

* Excellent communication skills.

* Attention to detail and organization skills.

* Able to meet deadlines and multi-task.

* Effective interpersonal skills to build rapport and work well with others.

* Ability to work independently without direct supervision.

* Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

* Use of standard office equipment as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word and Excel.

Work conditions are typical outdoor construction site field conditions.

This position may require working additional hours when there are a significant number of employees scheduled to work, including after hours and weekends.
