As they continue to expand their operations, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electrical Engineer-High Voltage to join their dynamic team.Job Summary:The Senior Electrical Engineer-High Voltage will be responsible for leading and managing high voltage electrical engineering projects from conception to completion. This includes designing, developing, and implementing electrical systems and equipment, as well as overseeing the installation, testing, and maintenance of these systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in high voltage engineering and a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.Key Responsibilities:-Engineering support and leadership of the high voltage electrical system engineering and safety programs,- Engineering support to maintenance, operations and engineers in production areas throughout the plant.- The successful incumbent will also provide electrical engineering and continuous improvement support, problem solving, technical solutions to recurring design, process and application problems, maintenance and engineering training and documentation.- This person will also develop, manage and implement capital projects, major repairs and maintenance activities and provide some electrical engineering support to all manufacturing and plant areas. Lead and manage high voltage electrical engineering projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.- Design, develop, and implement high voltage electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgears, and power distribution systems.- Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to determine the most efficient and effective solutions for clients.- Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of high voltage electrical systems, ensuring they meet all safety and regulatory requirements.- Collaborate with project teams, clients, and external stakeholders to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and support staff.- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in high voltage engineering, and incorporate them into project designs and processes.- Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and regulations.- Prepare project reports, documentation, and presentations for clients and senior management.Qualifications:- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.- Minimum of 5 years of electrical engineering experience within a manufacturing environment.- Electrical engineering experience with industrial high voltage and 480VAC power distribution, transformers,automation, process control systems, drives, and PLC's.- Experience leading, managing and implementing electrical projects including design, installation, andcommissioning.- Oversee the activities of craft persons involved in the implementation of engineered solutions and maintenanceactivities. In this role, be able to initiate and maintain an ongoing dialogue with personnel to identify issues, clarifyrequirements, and facilitate the use of safe work practices, personal protective equipment, clearance / lock-tag-verifyprocedures.- Manage external vendors who provide electrical design and support functions.- Demonstrated ability to work within a team environment and with cross-functional teams.- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.- Extensive knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems and equipment, including transformers, switchgear, and power distribution systems.- Strong project management skills, with a proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, project teams, and external stakeholders.- Knowledge of relevant codes, standards, and regulations, including IEEE, IEC, and NEC.- Proficiency in relevant software and tools, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and SKM.- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.We offer a competitive salary, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
