Job Description

We are searching for a Revenue Integrity Analyst - someone who works well in a fast-paced setting. In this position, you will lead, manage, and/or participate in all Revenue Integrity related projects as assigned by the Director. This role is also responsible for leading and/or supervising initiatives to improve or optimize efficiency while serving both internal and external customers.

Qualifications

•Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, health information management, business, or finance required

•CHRI, CRCR, CHFP, CSAF, or CPC license preferred

•Specialty Coding Certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders preferred

•4 years revenue cycle experience including but not limited to revenue integrity, billing, coding, denials, patient account management

Job Responsibilities

•Identify and monitor departments with charge capture and denial issues and develop processes for improvement

•Runs revenue analytics to support revenue monitoring, issue investigation and resolution

•Train and monitor clinical revenue owners on charge reconciliation

•Monitors the charge reconciliation efforts of clinical revenue owners and provides outreach when necessary

•Maintain accurate and compliant Chargemaster in accordance with state, federal, and payer guidelines

•Performs periodic and annual line-item evaluation of each charge to ensure correct assignment of HCPCS/CPT, Revenue Codes, and hardcoded modifiers

•Track and trend denials metrics coordinate with clinical staff and revenue cycle areas to get support for appeals, and recommends system changes where applicable
