Job DescriptionParadigm is seeking a Field Service Engineer to support our client located in Hillsboro, OR. In this role, you will work on maintenance of E-beam machines and electron-beam lithography tools on the client site.Type: Full-Time, Direct hire Location: On-site in Hillsboro/Client Site Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, PTOAs a Field Service Engineer, you will:Perform facility checks, routine maintenance, and adjustments of the equipmentBe responsible for basic troubleshooting of equipment issuesCollaborate with more senior level Field Services Engineers to understand maintenance better and common support issuesParticipate in on-the-job training opportunitiesFollow the site leaders directives and prioritization to ensure uninterrupted operation of customers' equipment and guarantee customer satisfactionBe responsible for providing timely service in an effective and efficient mannerProvide On-Call Support as needed on a rotational basis including after normal service hours, weekends and holidaysProvide Shift coverage as required by the site service contract requirementsFollow and enhance service procedures including Safety, Repair, Maintenance, and Customer specific site proceduresFollow all customer safety, security and clean room protocols alwaysRequirementsOur skills and experience wish list includes:Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field OR an associate degree with 2-4 years of related experience2-3 years of electro mechanical work experience (i.e., field service engineer or technician position in a semiconductor equipment company or a technical position in the engineering field)The ability to travel up to 30% travel after first yearThe ability to work varying hoursValid driver's license and acceptable driving record is requiredExperience with the Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel and PowerPointThe ability to walk long distances, kneel, reach, stand and stoop as well as the ability to lift 30lbsMust have the ability to see small defects, parts, and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly or fabrication parts with or without the assistance of contact lenses or glassesMust feel comfortable working in a clean room environment (wearing full clean room suit, mask, gloves, safety glasses)BenefitsOur client offers a competitive benefits package that includes medical, dental, vision, life, 401K, and PTO.
