About the Role We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Driver Helpers at United Parcel Service. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will play a crucial role in delivering packages efficiently. As a Driver Helper, your primary responsibility will be to assist Package Delivery Drivers in completing their routes on time. You will ride along with the driver in one of our famous brown trucks and help deliver packages to customers across various locations. This is a seasonal position that requires flexibility, and work will be assigned based on operational needs and your availability. When you are assigned work, you will be provided with a meet point where the driver will pick you up, often in your neighborhood. As a Driver Helper, you do not drive the brown truck. The ideal candidate should be physically fit, able to lift up to 70 pounds, and enjoy working outdoors. They should also have good stamina and be reliable and responsible. No prior experience is necessary, but having relevant skills such as heavy truck driving or similar roles can be beneficial. Key Responsibilities Assist Package Delivery Drivers in completing delivery routes on time Ride along with drivers in brown trucks to deliver packages to customers Meet drivers at designated points, often in your neighborhood Lift up to 70 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions Be physically fit and have good stamina Benefits We offer excellent weekly pay for this seasonal role, starting at $21.00 per hour.
