Junior Frontend Software Engineer, Beavercreek OH or Colorado Springs, CO

Position Responsibilities

Develop user-facing features using modern web technologies (Vue.js, Vite.js, Webpack, React, Angular)

Proactively identify and resolve challenging issues in a variety of software applications

Work with a team of software developers across a multidisciplinary set of software development efforts

Build reusable components and software library to share code amongst various projects

Requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills

Willingness to quickly pick up new technologies

Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular, etc.

Understanding of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS

Bachelors Degree or higher in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other software development-related degree

Must be a US citizen and eligible for a Secret or Top Secret clearance

Preferred Experience

Familiarity with modern UI frameworks such as Vue, React, Angular, etc. Familiarity with CI/CD tools and modern build technologies such as Vite or Webpack

Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Familiarity with frontend test tools (Vitest, Jest, Cypress, Playwright)

E xperience with RESTful APIs

Basic Compensation:

Pay range: $85-127k

This range is for the state of Colorado only.

The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates knowledge, skills, abilities and/or experience and in consideration of internal parity.

Additional Compensation:

KBR may offer bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation to certain job titles or levels, per internal policy or contractual designation. Additional compensation may be in the form of sign on bonus, relocation benefits, short term incentives, long term incentives, or discretionary payments for exceptional performance.
