Lucayan Technology LLC is looking for USMC TECOM Liaison Officer (LNO) to serve as the Marine Corps representative to the Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) and the Joint Staff J-7. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact between TECOM and the JNTC JS J-7, facilitating coordination, communication, and integration of Marine Corps training requirements into joint training efforts. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of U.S. military operations, training systems, and joint force integration. General duties include: Liaison Role: Serve as the principal point of contact between TECOM and JNTC JS J-7, ensuring seamless communication, coordination, and alignment of training requirements between the Marine Corps and the Joint Staff. Training Coordination: Ensure that Marine Corps training needs, goals, and objectives are accurately represented and integrated into joint training events, exercises, and planning activities coordinated by JNTC JS J-7. Support Joint Exercises: Assist in the planning, execution, and evaluation of joint training exercises that involve multiple branches of the military, ensuring that Marine Corps forces are effectively integrated and prepared. Provide Strategic Guidance: Offer expertise and guidance on the integration of Marine Corps training systems, doctrine, and standards into joint training exercises. Ensure that exercises meet the operational and educational needs of the Marine Corps while adhering to JNTC objectives. Collaboration & Integration: Work closely with senior leaders from other services, JNTC, and Joint Staff J-7 to advocate for the Marine Corps and ensure its requirements are accurately reflected in joint training plans and exercises. Provide advice on operational, strategic, and tactical issues related to Marine Corps participation in joint training. Cross-Functional Coordination: Coordinate with various TECOM departments, training commands, and external agencies to ensure that the Marine Corps is prepared and well-represented in joint training exercises. Planning & Reporting: Assist in the development of training schedules, exercise objectives, and after-action reports (AARs). Track and report on Marine Corps participation in JNTC events, ensuring that all training goals are met and relevant feedback is captured for continuous improvement. Issue Resolution: Act as the liaison to resolve any issues related to the integration of Marine Corps training needs into JNTC exercises and events. Address any coordination or communication gaps between TECOM and JNTC JS J-7. EDUCATION High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred. EXPERIENCE Experience as a USMC Staff Non-Commissioned Officer (SNCO) or above preferred. Marine Corps operations/training experience. CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCIES Strong understanding of U.S. military training systems, including Joint National Training Capability (JNTC), and multi-service training integration. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact with senior military leaders, training officers, and joint staff at all levels. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Knowledge of Joint Staff J-7 processes, military doctrine, and training protocols. Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules, tasks, and priorities. Ability to work independently while coordinating across multiple organizations. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and training coordination tools. WORKING CONDITIONS Required to sit or stand for extended periods of time and maintain focus. Required to walk ranges/training areas in harsh weather conditions on a regular basis. Driving on trails and unimproved roads. May be required to lift awkward sized items weighing up to 50 pounds. Work in weather conditions where temperatures exceed 100 degrees. SPECIAL POSITION NOTATIONS Occasional travel may be required. Qualification as an authorized company driver is required. All authorized company drivers must have a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance, and a driving record that is acceptable to the company's auto insurance provider. Daily travel in local area during workday (company vehicle provided). SECURITY CLEARANCE A secret clearance is required for this position.
