Job Summary

The Global Account Operations and Contractual Acceleration organization is looking for a highly motivated manager with strong leadership skills and contractual business experience to lead the Contractual Account Support team and Customer and Sales Support teams.

Our aspiration is to be competitive differentiator for HP by providing best-in-class customer experience to Global Accounts, by optimizing operational processes and enabling profitable business growth. The Contractual Account Support team focuses on specific support activities to enable Managed Device Services (MDS) deals, a strategic growth area for HP. Additionally, you will be accountable for customer purchase experience of selected Tier 1 Global Accounts, acting as a key enabler for Global Sales supporting the end-to-end operational processes.

You will own operational performance and drive evolution of the operational support model for Solution business, including:

  • Global integrated financing deal support
  • Account Operations management (AOM) support
  • Services Category support
  • Catalog Management
  • Pricing operations
  • Sales Support activities and other hosted activities.
Responsibilities
  • Accountable for operational performance delivered to Corporate and Enterprise customers across owned functions
  • Leads simplification and improvement of operational processes, measured by operational efficiency, output quality and customer and sales satisfaction
  • Drives evolution of the support model based on business needs, in line with HP's strategy
  • Enables growth of solution business by scalable and efficient operational processes
  • Engages with sales and business stakeholders to align on priorities, service levels and future capability needs
  • Leads a regional team of operational resources and subject matter experts
  • Collaborates across Global program teams, regional stakeholders and outsourced service providers to ensure business is well supported
  • Actively influences global programs and infrastructure decisions representing business requirements
  • Drives organizational and individual people development, manages performance and budget
Education & Experience Recommended
  • First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in a business related function, preferably operations, sales, finance or IT
  • Solid people management and operations experience
Knowledge & Skills
  • Applies a collaborative leadership style based on strong business & financial acumen and industry knowledge
  • Strong understanding of HP's Global business model and related IT infrastructure, process and project tools, sales processes
  • Proven delivery of business outcomes with strong linkage to Sales
  • Has successfully driven alignment across regions/functions with a customer-first mindset
  • Is known for collaborating across organizational boundaries. Combines listening skills and leadership to optimize results
  • Communicates at ease at all levels with a bias for action and execution
  • Has the seniority and vision to continuously develop and improve results
  • Superior analytical skills with respect to performance metrics; ability to make decisions based on minimal input to improve or maintain metrics.
  • Proven successes and passion in team & employee development
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills, including goal-setting, conflict resolution, performance management, budget planning, problem solving, valuation and employee engagement.
  • Excellent communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation) to develop relationships across businesses.
  • Mastery in English is required.
