Job Summary: The Senior Technical Support Specialist will provide first line technical support (on-site and by phone) for all Pebble Beach business operations and corporate. Create technical documentation and work with our knowledge base. Install, configure, and maintain all of the technology (hardware and software) for the divisions of the Pebble Beach Company. Ensure smooth operation of our Windows environment Know how to set up new users in an Active Directory environment and establish best practices Provide troubleshooting and escalated tier support to Tech support team Be proficient in desktop, laptop and device deployment using modern technology Set standards and drive excellence to deliver World Class Service. Advocate to simplify the environment for employees while balancing security Work collaboratively with other teams; infrastructure, applications, etc. Research, analyze, and recommend desktop PC, printer upgrades and/or replacements and other desktop related software. Be part of the team that makes recommendation of other Technology software and hardware. Have a passion for technology solutions. Manage the distribution and installation of new software and software updates for all company PC’s and related systems in tandem with the Applications’ team. Diagnose and correct hardware, software and networking problems, including user errors, configurations errors, and bugs. Provide overnight/after-hours maintenance when business needs dictate Provide 24-hour on-call support service as dictated by department schedule. Comply with all Pebble Beach Company safety and health policies and procedures. Work independently to provide first line technical support with ability to work weekends and after-hours support as required. Other tasks as assigned by management. Absolutely Required Skills: Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills. Deep technical experience is required for this role. Excellent, demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Extensive experience in a Windows environment. Understands basic networking. Is proficient in building and maintaining Active Directory environments. Demonstrates strong deductive reasoning. Self-motivated, independent learner and team player. Enjoys helping others and has a can-do attitude. Is knowledgeable about hardware, software, networks and how it all goes together. Must be a self-motivated team player.
