Best Line Equipment is looking for a Full Line Sales Manager to direct the sales activities and implement the company strategy with our Southern Region sales team. The successful candidate must live within the region which covers the Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Greater Baltimore areas. You will have supervisory responsibilities for a team of sales representatives and manage $25 million in annual sales.
This role reports to the Vice President of Sales and requires regular communications regarding sales projections and market updates. The position requires daily travel throughout the region with the use of a company provided vehicle and fuel.
Job Overview:
Provide leadership, motivate, and encourage a sales team, ensuring quotas are met.
Review and analyze sales and operational records and reports; use data to project sales, determine profitability and targets, and identify potential new markets.
Identify and analyze customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts.
Consult with potential customers to understand their needs; identify and suggest equipment, products, or services that will meet those needs.
Resolve customer complaints, staffing problems, and other issues that may interfere with efficient sales operations.
Collaborate with executive leadership to develop sales quotas and strategies.
Supervisory responsibilities including hiring and training sales team and overseeing schedules, territories, and performance.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Administration, or related field, OR comparable record of sales leadership experience required.
At least three years of sales experience required.
Valid Driver's License
Ability to pass a medical physical examination for non-CDL medical card.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent sales and customer service skills with proven negotiation skills.
Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
