Senior Software Engineer Front End (Angular, React) Capital One is seeking a Front End Software Engineer who is passionate about using cutting?edge open?source frameworks and emerging technologies. You will work in a fast?paced, collaborative, inclusive, and iterative delivery environment to solve complex business problems and help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment. What Youll Do Work with a team of developers with deep experience in distributed microservices and full?stack systems. Perform software development on front?end applications leveraging a test?driven development pattern. Own the technical design and development of cross?functional, multi?platform application systems. Share your passion for staying on top of tech trends, experimenting with and learning new technologies, participating in internal &exterior technology communities, and mentoring other members of the engineering community. Collaborate with digital product managers and deliver robust cloud?based solutions that drive powerful experiences to help millions of Americans achieve financial empowerment. Utilize programming languages such as JavaScript (Angular, React, Node), HTML/CSS, TypeScript and Java, open?source frameworks, RESTful web services, and work on cross?browser and cross?device development. Basic Qualifications Bachelors Degree At least 3 years of professional software engineering experience (internship experience does not apply). Preferred Qualifications 5+ years of experience in at least one of the following: React, Angular, Node, TypeScript, Java, JavaScript. 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or another cloud service. 3+ years of experience in open?source frameworks. 2+ years of experience in Agile practices. Compensation McLean, VA: $158,600 - $181,000 Richmond, VA: $144,200 - $164,600 Other locations: pay range will be determined based on the location and reflects the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of posting.
