Essential Job Qualifications:

  • Must be detail oriented with exceptional organization skills.
  • Must have demonstrated leadership skills
  • Must have the ability to formulate solutions and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills building effective cross-function partnerships
  • Must be able to navigate in a windows based computer environment
  • Experience with Microsoft office, including Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Must be an effective trainer
  • Must have analytical thinking abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous material handling experience
  • Demonstrated ability to track inventory movement through SAP
  • Demonstrated ability to track inventory through WMIS
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
  • Reconciliation of Stock Status
  • Maintains inventory data integrity and tracks accuracy of inventory
  • Research root causes of all inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions
  • Challenge the status quo by developing and recommending modifications to existing processes and methodologies with a constant focus on continuous improvement
  • Recommend and develop strategies and processes related to inventory management
  • Complete observation forms for accounting variances >$500
  • Trainer
  • Orange Belt/PDCA/Kaizen projects
  • Must be able to collect and analyze data for root cause analysis
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
  • Able to work at heights of 40-45 feet above ground on order picker.
  • Frequently lift, push, or pull up to 40lbs. Occasionally push weights of up to 50lbs.
  • Use hands to manipulate and operate hand tools and power tools.
  • Able to bend, reach, twist and carry above shoulder / below waist level.
  • Able to stand and walk throughout shift, with breaks.
  • Able to visually inspect and read labels.
