The role

SoFi is seeking a Director, Global Benefits to join our Total Rewards team and oversee the design, development, implementation, and communication of our benefits policies, solutions, and programs globally. This leader will play a critical role in helping transform the Benefits function into a global team. The ideal candidate has proven experience managing global people benefit functions in the US and LATAM.

What you’ll do:

Leadership and Strategic Direction : Responsible for the Benefits team's strategy across design, development, implementation, and communication of innovative benefits policies, solutions, and programs with a focus on attracting and retaining a dynamic workforce with diverse needs.

Global Operating Model:

Scale the administration of all benefits plans and programs to ensure efficient and cost effective operations with a focus on local market competitiveness while aligning to global principles.

Stakeholder Management:

Partner with external advisors and legal counsel to ensure that all benefits are competitive and compliant with all federal and local government regulations.

Program Management:

Oversee the review, communication, and implementation of the annual benefit programs enrollment process and the annual total rewards review.

Talent Development and Team Management:

Recruit, develop, and retain top talent within the global total rewards organization. Provide mentorship, coaching, and professional development opportunities to team members. Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and individual growth.

What you’ll need:

Bachelor’s degree required 10+ years of related HR and Total Rewards experience in a dynamic environment 8+ years leading a global Benefits function or equivalent focused on continuous improvement in a complex, global, or newly public company Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Expert knowledge in benefit service delivery, policies, and compliance processes Strong understanding of how to navigate both strategic and tactical aspects of the position (rolling up your sleeves when necessary and delegating where appropriate) Demonstrated program management skills with experience operationalizing complex initiatives into systematic and efficient work streams. Ability to positively influence stakeholders, with outstanding verbal and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
