JOB SUMMARY

The Universal Banker serves as a one-stop solution for customers, integrating both retail and commercial banking functions. This multifaceted role encompasses various responsibilities, including Teller and New Account functions, as well as Consumer Lending. The Universal Banker will also make referrals to various lines of business, such as wealth management and mortgage services. The Universal Banker is dedicated to building strong customer relationships, understanding their financial needs, and providing tailored solutions to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Greet customers courteously, ensuring prompt and efficient service.
  • Provide a diverse range of banking services, including checking and savings accounts, and personal loans.
  • Help customers understand loan options to inform their decisions; guide clients through the application process, ensuring they comprehend the terms and conditions.
  • Handle inquiries, cross-sell bank products, and assess customer needs.
  • Direct customers appropriately, referring them when necessary.
  • Offer information and referrals for additional services, including wealth management, mortgage options, and insurance products.
  • Work closely with the Branson West Commercial Lender for underwriting and loan portfolio management.
  • Collaborate with bank personnel to develop customer relationships and increase product adoption.
  • Process daily bank transactions, reconciling checks, verifying items, and balancing transactions.
  • Answer customer service calls, emails, and other channels using phone and supporting software.
  • Identify and address customer needs, maintaining satisfaction.
  • Assist customers in adopting technology, including online and mobile banking platforms, ensuring they are comfortable using digital tools.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank products, services, and industry trends to effectively address inquiries and provide informed recommendations.
  • Assist customers with account openings, closings, and a variety of other customer service functions.
  • Obtain necessary information, provide required disclosures, and prepare appropriate documents.
  • Navigate Core and Ancillary software for customer inquiries.
  • Assist with Safe Deposit customers.
  • Work on Saturdays, aligning with Relationship Bankers' schedules.
  • Exhibit exemplary attendance and punctuality.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
