The Partnership Product Center, a part of Pratt & Whitney's Global Supply Chain, is looking for a Value Stream Manager who will be responsible for driving overall quality, cost, and delivery assurance processes to ensure product delivery and customer satisfaction. This leadership position requires superior communication and analytical skills, while managing Risk and Revenue sharing Partners globally. The role of Value Stream Manager (VSM) is both exciting & challenging. This position requires exceptional critical thinking skills & the ability to build efficient working relationships across the many P&W functional groups.

What You Will Do
  • Supplier relationships: delivery and quality performance, business reviews, underperforming supplier reviews, customer satisfaction. Some partners are located in the Asia Pacific(APAC) area.
  • Purchase order execution / product delivery: on time order placement, billing adjustments, tooling requirements, negotiation / cost reduction.
  • Industrial rate support, risk mitigation, driving part recovery plans with communication to internal customers, owning the recovery through Line of Balance (LOB) improvements.
  • Raytheon code of Ethics, International Trade Compliance, P&W procurement manual, standard work, transition Standard work, and other areas of compliance
  • Actively working with Pratt and Whitney Puerto Rico management and buyers on timely order quotation/placement and delivery assurance functions.
  • Interaction with the Partnership Program Office, Engineering CIPT, Supplier and Program Quality, Supplier Quality Assurance Representatives (SQAR's), MCL, ESA, Continuous Improvement Specialists, & the GWS "Buyers & Planners" providing procurement & materials management for the Partners
  • Coordination with Engineering Support to Operations (ESTO), Integrated Program Management Teams (IPMT), Component Integrated Product Teams (CIPT), Production Chief, Supplier Quality; including Spares, Pricing and Contracts Teams, as well as the Command Center and the PDC
  • Ownership of part delivery commitment and execution
  • Collaboration with strategic sourcing and the Partnership Program office for alignment on strategy and Partner execution
  • Leadership of cross functional teams in support of cost, quality, and delivery metrics
  • Use CORE tools to improve EH&S, quality, delivery, financial, employee engagement, and customer satisfaction
  • Lead regular program updates to senior Operations ,Commercial Engines, and customer leadership
Qualifications You Must Have
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Operations Management or related field and 12 years of experience in operations, supply chain, or related field ;OR an Advanced degree (MS/MBA) with 10 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.
Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong working knowledge in SAP
  • Experience with P&W Procurement Systems and Standard Work
  • Delivery assurance experience and ability to mitigate risk
  • CORE (formerly ACE) experience and analytical/metrics driven approach

Hybrid: Employees who are working in Hybrid roles will work regularly both onsite and offsite. This means that responsibilities of the job need to be performed onsite on a regular basis.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.
