Responsibilities:

Lead the processing of scheduled payrolls for assigned companies, ensuring precision and compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local laws. Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax and wage & hour regulations, including payroll tax registrations. Analyze complex payroll issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions. Exercise independent judgment on matters related to compliance, compensation, taxation, and HR policies. Conduct post-payroll audits, generate reports, and recommend best practice improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Stay up-to-date on payroll procedures and policies, implementing changes to improve departmental effectiveness. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of experience, preferably in a customer-facing role. Strong work ethic with a focus on reliability, responsibility, and attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and adapt to changing needs. Proactive problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities. Proficiency in Google Suite applications. Excellent data entry and typing skills with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
