Duties:

  • Apply the principles, methods, and tools for developing, scheduling, coordinating, and managing projects and resources.
  • Gather information and create textual documents, presentations/briefings, and graphics to support communication of organizational mission, objectives, strategies, and programmatic direction.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining strategy documentation, operations documentation, manuals and technical material.
  • Create material for multiple audiences (e.g., external stakeholders, senior leadership, and internal to the organization).
  • Provide audience, context, grammar, punctuation, mechanics/style, and proofreading.
  • Communicate effectively with the organization stakeholders via telephone, email and other applications.
  • Assess customer and stakeholder needs and manage their expectations.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships and networks with customers, professional colleagues internal and external to the Agency, foreign partners, or representatives of other agencies.
  • Inform customers, management, or relevant others of work progress, project status, and problems.
  • Understand the organization's mission and functions (e.g., programs, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations of the organization) and work with organization leadership to gather information for re.
  • Apply program management principles, techniques, services, and practices to effectively achieve domestic/international program goals and objectives.

  • Use multiple processing and presentation tools such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Notes, or Visio to assist in monitoring and consolidating project information.
  • Consult with technical personnel to integrate and maintain project information as needed on a variety of platforms or software. Platforms and outputs could include Confluence, shared drives, schedules, GANT charts, Work Breakdown Structure (WBS), and use of tools such as MS Project to capture and maintain this information.
  • Provide a Monthly Status Report (MSR), Quarterly Program Management Review (PMR) deliverables which document project milestones and achievements.
  • Provide original, updated, edited documents (e.g., Word documents, presentations, schedules, etc.) at the direction of the government.
