Member Sales Specialist

Member Sales Responsibilities:
- Lead generation and nurturing: networking, community outreach, referrals, phone calls, emails, texts, etc.
- New member signups
- Tour and Trial Booking
- Trial follow up and conversions
- Creating and executing internal referral lead generation program
- Continued support, interactions, and communication with members after signup, driving engagement and progress
- Assist members with scheduling their 1-1 fitness coaching appointments and signature studio classes
- Ensure that members check in when arriving to the facility, while monitoring status of member programs
- Maintain the cleanliness and order of the front desk area and ensure the members have a great club experience
- Meet club sales & lead goals
- Provide a great member experience
- Assist management as needed
- Ensure members are giving an NPS score of 8 or higher
- Strong critical thinking ability with great multi-tasking skills required
- Create and build strong relationships with people
- Passion for helping people feel healthy, happy and strong
- Doesn't mind rejection, rather sees it as a step to getting a yes
- Self motivated and driven to achieve set goals
- Prefers working with a team that becomes a second family
- So passionate about helping people stay healthy that overcoming their objections, fears and hesitations comes naturally
- Good with technology and software
- 2 years sales experience minimum (prefer 5 years)
- Full and part time positions available (minimum 20 hours per week)
- Morning, evening and weekend hours will be required as necessary
- Must be career minded and desire to grow with the company long term

Compensation: $30.00 - $55.00 per hour

Energy Fitness was founded in 2003 by Michael Tucci, Trevor Tucci, and Mike Fox. They were young, passionate about fitness, and ready to build something of their own.
There was a glaring gap in the fitness industry at that time. People had a choice between two options, neither of which were very good. Big box gyms were uncomfortable, impersonal, and tended to attract a clientele that made newcomers feel intimidated. One-dimensional boutique studios offered only one cookie-cutter workout, which works for a certain amount of time, but people begin to fall off track without variety to keep them engaged.
Michael studied Mechanical Engineering at Cornell, but back home on Long Island, he decided to pursue something that felt more fun and authentic. Partnering with Trevor and longtime friend, Mike Fox, Michael bought the first gym that would introduce an industry disrupting fitness model.
After operating out of existing gyms for the first several years, they were finally able to build their 10,000-square-foot dream facility from scratch. The flagship Energy Fitness location opened in 2011, and two more followed soon after. The clubs, concept, and community grew from one main philosophy: everyone needs a coach to succeed on their fitness journey.
Now with five locations and growing, Energy Fitness is the only fitness experience of its kind. Our focus is on creating a culture, team, and model of accountability that gives our clients exactly what they need to stay motivated and achieve through all the ups and downs of their health journey. EVERY client at Energy has a personal fitness coach, ensuring that they get the support they need in a hyper-engaged community.
