Join to apply for the Quality Engineer role at Nefab Ensure that Nefab products meet customer requirements established in the drawings and acceptance and rejection criteria, in the different buildings within the Division. Salary range $70,000 -$80,000 annual dependent upon experience Main Responsibilities Provide training about: introduction to Q&EMS, SFI, NICS, DOT. Solve customer complaints on time, coordinating containment actions (quality alert, sorting material, RMA) and the root cause and corrective/preventive actions. Make follow up to 8DNCRs, 8DComplaints, 8DSCARs, Product Discrepancies in NICS and compile evidences for Corrective / Preventive actions. Perform FMEA and Control Plan for the operational processes. Consolidate the results of quality and environmental KPIs. Perform customized FAIs or PPAPs. Securing product quality in new products by proposing measures to control or improve the final products to meet established quality standards. Control of measuring devices (calibrations / verifications), including annual verification of measuring tapes. Document tests for RISE packaging in NICS. Analyze weekly the Product Discrepancies report (scrap, reworks, etc.) and present results to the operations team to improve the performance. Adhere to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 Policies and Procedures. Other duties as needed. Minimum Experience And Education Requirements EDUCATION University Degree (B.S. in Systems Engineering preferred or equivalent to experience). Experience 2 years in quality assurance. LANGUAGES Fluent in English, both written and verbal Bilingual in Spanish a plus Skills And Competences Decision making Analysis and judgment Initiative and responsibility Interpretation of drawings Measuring devices Knowledge of product and packaging materials Forklift handling Health and Safety and Environmental Obligations Abide by Companys Health & Safety regulations.
