We are looking for a Tax Senior - Private Client Services to join our Tax Department in our Florham Park office. As a PCS Tax Senior, you will be responsible for providing excellent client service. Our firm provides excellent compensation, benefits, wellness initiatives, and a strong career path for high performing professionals.

NOTE: This is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities:

* Prepares federal, state and local tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections, focusing mainly on high net worth individuals and trust returns* Review tax work of staff and interns and provide feedback, training, and mentoring* Review tax information supplied by client and obtain open items* Assist with the coordination of the day-to-day duties of planning, tax work, and wrap-up* Perform tax research to resolve issues* Identify and communicate tax matters to Managers and Partners* Build relationships with clients and staff

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree in Accounting required; Masters in Taxation preferred* 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm* CPA or (in progress) preferred* Possess knowledge of federal, state and local tax laws -individual, trust, gifts taxation* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Responsive to clients* Must have excellent client service skills* Approaches projects with a sense of urgency* Highly motivated* Outstanding analytical, organizational and project management skills* Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications* Knowledge of Axcess and XCM is a plus
