This includes organizing events, identifying and partnering with local organizations, and managing vendors for outreach activities such as event staffing and neighborhood canvassing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for energy efficiency and community engagement, along with strong organizational and communication skills. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Majority of duties performed, but not to be all-inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned)Plan and coordinate outreach events to promote residential energy efficiency programs.Identify and establish partnerships with local organizations, community groups, and stakeholders to expand outreach efforts.Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and contractors for outreach activities.Manage vendor contracts, budgets, and performance to ensure effective outreach campaigns.Track and analyze outreach metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns.Collaborate with internal teams to align outreach efforts with program goals and objectives.Stay current on industry trends and best practices in residential energy efficiency outreach.Contact warm leads and attempt to schedule them in the appropriate program.Follow up with all contacts made at an event with the goal of enrolling in the appropriate program.Evaluate and communicate the effectiveness of each event, for example determine ROI and or cost of acquisition of each event.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsJOB REQUIREMENTS (Experience, education, knowledge, skills & abilities required for competent performance in the job)Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, environmental studies, or related field or related experience.2+ years of experience in outreach, community engagement, or related field or related experience.Sales, Customer Care and/or telemarketing experience preferred.Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.Experience coordinating events and working with vendors or contractors.Knowledge of energy efficiency and sustainability principles preferred.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong organizational, problem solving and prioritization skills necessary.Excellent analytical, personal and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail.Resourcefulness to meet tight deadlines and flexibility with fluctuating priorities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel and Acrobat Pro. Perform the essential functions and physical demands of the position with or without accommodation.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS (The physical demands of the job)Consistently spending time sitting, typing, talking, walking and using repetitive motion.Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of automated office machinery, such as a computer.Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone.
