The position of a District-wide Head Custodian is available immediately at East Central ISD. All individuals (district employees included) who are interested in this position must apply online through Frontline via the district website. The deadline for submitting an application is until the position is filled.
PRIMARY PURPOSE: Responsible for on-site leadership of campus and/or facility Custodial Operations. Establish and follow routine cleaning and maintenance procedures to maintain a high standard of safety, cleanliness, and efficiency of building operations and grounds.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Certification:
Pass background investigation as required for the police department and district
General knowledge and skills in the area of assignment
Ability to lift and carry 45 lbs. without assistance
Ability to understand and execute detailed written or oral instructions
Knowledge of cleaning, disinfecting, maintenance, and safety procedures
Ability to perform minor repairs and interior painting
Ability to properly handle cleaning and disinfecting supplies and equipment
Effective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
Ability to work assigned hours to include a.m. or p.m. shifts and some weekend
Experience:
Two years of experience in custodial services
