The primary responsibilities involve coordinating and executing administrative tasks related to payroll, benefits administration, and fostering positive employee relations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate payroll operations for both corporate headquarters and satellite locations, encompassing tasks such as:
      • Payroll processing.
      • Timecard reconciliation within the timekeeping system.
      • Ensuring accurate input of employee schedules into the timekeeping system.
      • Managing bulk payroll adjustments and reimbursements.
      • Conducting thorough audits to ensure payroll accuracy.
      • Generating ad-hoc reports as necessary.
  • Execute transactions for employee status changes (e.g., promotions, transfers, separations) within Workday.
  • Provide comprehensive benefits support, including:
      • Managing enrollments and updates within benefits administration systems.
      • Handling billing reconciliation.
      • Coordinating and monitoring premium collections for employees on leave.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing employee inquiries regarding FMLA, STD, and other benefits.
  • Gather and maintain data required for audits related to 401(k) and Pension Plans.
  • Support the dissemination of HR programs and services in a positive manner.
  • Maintain organized departmental files and records.
  • Demonstrate proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Ensure completion of administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and drafting correspondence.
  • Uphold confidentiality in all interactions.
  • Undertake any other relevant duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Industrial Relations, Business, or a related field preferred; relevant experience may be considered for non-BA/BS candidates.
  • Minimum of two years' experience in payroll and timekeeping; prior HR experience is advantageous.
  • Exceptional customer service and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team-oriented with the flexibility to work independently.
  • Strong organizational skills, coupled with excellent oral and written communication abilities.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in analytical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Solid mathematical skills.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now, Workforce Manager, eTime, and Workday systems preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
