Essential Job Responsibilities

Development in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and various APIs while providing expertise in the full software development lifecycle; from concept and design to testing, designing, developing and delivering high-volume, low-latency applications for mission-critical systems Responsible for the design and development of Java code for a large-scale IT Programs using J2EE or other Java frameworks (e.g., Spring) and other Java development tools (e.g. Eclipse, JUnit, Git) Write well-designed, testable, efficient code Ensure designs follow specifications and deliver superior engineering outcomes Participate in technical solution and design discussions Perform proofs of concept and comprehensive solutions throughout the development lifecycle Utilize open-source tools, automation, and cloud services to implement enterprise full-stack solutions Add new features while improving efficiency, reliability, and scalability to address client needs

Experience

3 years of work experience with Web development technologies (HTML, JSP, etc.). 3 years of work experience with Linux/Unix shell scripting (e.g., ksh, bash, csh, etc.) 4+ years of Java development experience to build enterprise applications 2+ years’ experience with using Java development tools (e.g., Eclipse, JUnit, Git)

Education

Bachelors in computer science or other STEM fields Demonstrated, hands-on experience building a deployed web application Non-relational database experience (MongoDB, Firebase, GraphQL, etc.)
