Job Description

Job Description Salary: We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Biomedical Technician to join our dynamic team, specializing in the service and repair of sterilizers and anesthesia machines. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with equipment from leading manufacturers such as Mindray, GE, Primus, Steris, Getinge, and Tuttnauer. This role will focus on maintaining and repairing medical equipment primarily within ambulatory surgery centers.

Key Responsibilities

Perform installation, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of medical equipment, specializing in anesthesia machines and sterilizers.

Ensure all equipment meets the necessary safety and performance standards.

Conduct regular preventive maintenance and calibration of medical equipment.

Troubleshoot complex issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.

Train and support clinical staff on the proper use of equipment.

Manage service records and documentation of all maintenance activities.

Provide on-call technical support and perform emergency repairs as required.

Adhere to all national and international standards for medical equipment safety and performance. Travel to various sites to perform repairs, installations, and routine service as needed.

Required Qualifications

Certification and hands-on experience with Mindray and/or GE anesthesia machines.

Certification and experience with at least one of the following sterilizer brands: Primus, Steris, Getinge, or Tuttnauer.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, particularly in an ambulatory surgery center environment.

Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair complex biomedical equipment.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with medical staff and colleagues.

Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.

Willingness and ability to travel extensively (over 75% of the time)

Desired Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering or related field. Advanced certifications in biomedical equipment technology.

Experience with software and hardware integration in medical devices.

Knowledge of current medical device regulations and compliance requirements.
