Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager:
The Accounting Manager will serve as the financial leader and primary point of contact for all financial matters within our client's organization.
Lead the development of comprehensive financial plans, including budgeting and forecasting, to guide strategic decision-making.
Conduct thorough financial analysis, providing actionable insights and reports to senior management.
Ensure strict adherence to accounting principles, STAT regulatory requirements, NAIC, and internal policies.
Establish and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets and mitigate financial risks.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for process improvement and implement strategic initiatives.
Provide strategic recommendations to drive financial performance and support the company's long-term objectives.
Requirements of the Accounting Manager:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Proven track record of success in a similar financial leadership role.
Comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, and STAT reporting standards.
Life insurance OR Accident & Health insurance is required
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
The Accounting Manager will have a proactive mindset with a strong ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
