We are looking for a new Part-Time Client Service Coordinator at our San FranciscohospitalAbout the job:As a veterinary Client Service Coordinator, you will be responsible for the following duties:Client Interaction: Welcome and assist clients and their pets, providing a positive and helpful experience.Appointment Management: Schedule appointments, coordinate procedures, and manage the clinic's calendar.Communication: Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide information about services.Record Keeping: Maintain accurate client and patient records, ensuring confidentiality.Check-In/Out: Process client paperwork, verify information, and handle payments during visits.Billing: Calculate fees, process payments, and assist with invoicing as needed.Client Education: Offer pet care information and answer general questions.Facility Maintenance: Keep reception area organized and comfortable for clients and pets.Team Collaboration: Communicate with veterinary staff to ensure smooth operations.Emergency Response: Handle emergencies calmly, directing clients appropriately.Problem Solving: Address client concerns and conflicts, escalating when necessary.The compensation for this role falls between $22 - $26 hourly.Basic required qualifications:High school diploma 1+ years of customer service experience - veterinary hospital experience strongly preferred1+ years of hospitality experience (e.g., creating a friendly and receptive environment for clients)Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical recordsEffective working knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculatorWork Schedule: Part timeMondays and Tuesdays8 hr shifts ending at 11pmWho you are:If the following sounds like you, apply todayExceptional customer service and communication abilitiesGenuine love for animals and a welcoming demeanorStrong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectivelyEmpathy, compassion, and the ability to provide reassurance to worried pet ownersQuick problem-solving skills to handle unexpected situationsProfessionalism in appearance, attitude, and communicationBasic computer skills and the willingness to learn veterinary softwareAdaptability to a fast-paced and dynamic environmentDiscretion and commitment to maintaining client and patient confidentialityIf you have prior experience in veterinary medicine, we encourage you to apply today Ethos Veterinary Health is at the forefront of innovation and world-class medicine.
