Position Position: Project Manager Duration: 6 Months+ Approx. Location: St Paul, MN (Hybrid) Interview Mode: in-person at Metropolitan Council Office Job Description: High school diploma or GED AND nine (9) years of experience managing multiple IT and business projects Note: Highest completed degree in the following majors: Computer Science, Business Management, or Project Management will count towards the minimum nine (9) years of required work experience. Associates degree counts as two years of experience Bachelors degree or higher counts as four years of experience Two (2) or more years in a lead role that required collaboration across multiple divisions with stakeholders from varying organizational levels. PMP Certification CSM Certification 2 years experience with Microsoft Project years experience with Azure Dev Ops Required Qualifications Proven experience managing large-scale, multi-year IT or transit program initiatives, including the implementation of cloud-based software solutions. Strong background in both Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with the ability to apply hybrid approaches to meet project goals and timelines. Experience working on state, regional, or local government projects, with familiarity in public sector processes, compliance, and reporting requirements. Experience in stakeholder management and communication within public sector or regional government environments. Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating with internal and external partners to deliver complex projects on time and within budget. Proficiency in risk, issue, and resource management, including budget oversight and mitigation planning for high-impact initiatives. Experience supporting organizational change and process improvement efforts within PMO or enterprise-level programs. Compensation Compensation for roles at Beacon Systems Inc depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
