CONNECT WITH STUDENTS DURING THE SUMMER

Duties include: Responsible for the collaborative planning and implementing of daily Teen After-School programming Coordinate and support special events, family programming, teen-specific programming and activities with direction from the Youth Experience Director Work closely with school and Y personnel to ensure positive outcomes for students and connection between the school, students, families and the Y. Develop and maintain positive relationships with Y employees, school personnel and administration, students and families. Assist with transportation supervision Maintain written attendance data, meal count records, collect assessment data and provide reports as necessary. Represent Ward YMCA teen programs at community events and resource fairs Operate daily groups in a ratio of 1:20 comfortably Create a welcoming and engaging environment for a diverse group of young adults ages 11-17 Facilitate group games, physical activities, STEM and creative arts projects, and more

Requirements

Qualifications/Requirements: At least 21+ Years Old Education, Recreation Management or similar related Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred Available to work between 9am-6pm Reliable transportation
