We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Customer Business Manager to join our Growth Channels Sale’s team. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the customer has optimal inventory levels across their distribution network to maximize POS. This role is a customer facing role and requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of demand forecasting and inventory management in the CPG industry. A Day In The Life: Demand Forecasting: Utilize historical sales data, market trends, and customer insights to develop accurate demand forecasts for all SKUs. Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels at warehouses, distribution centers, and retail locations to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory. Replenishment Planning: Develop replenishment strategies to optimize inventory turnover and minimize stockouts. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Flow Planning to align replenishment plans with sales forecasts, promotions, and new product launches. Joint Business Planning with our customers Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in replenishment processes. Performance Analysis: Track key performance metrics such as fill rates, inventory turns, and stockout rates, and provide insights to senior management on performance trends and areas for improvement. What You’ll Bring: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Finance or related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in replenishment, demand planning, or inventory management within the CPG industry; strong Retail acumen. Strong analytical and quantitative skills with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions and levels of the organization. Proven track record of driving results and implementing process improvements. Expert understanding of all aspects of the Microsoft suites Knowledge of ERP systems, demand planning software, and supply chain best practices. Travel will be required ~10% of the time Hybrid position- Candidate will need to be able to come into the Providence, RI office 3 times a week.
