We have four locations in Aiken County with approximately 150 employees.

Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to join our leadership team. The CMO will provide strategic direction for our clinical services, ensuring high-quality patient care while leading initiatives to enhance health outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all clinical operations and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
  • Develop and implement clinical protocols and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to promote best practices and evidence-based medicine.
  • Lead efforts in population health management, including chronic disease management and preventive care programs.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional development among clinical staff.
  • Engage with community stakeholders to address public health needs and improve access to care.
  • Monitor clinical performance metrics and use data to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
Requirements

Qualifications:
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution; board certification in a relevant specialty.
  • Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role, preferably in a community health or FQHC setting.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations, quality improvement, and population health management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Passion for improving community health and a commitment to health equity.
