What you’ll do: ·

Work closely with our CEO, CTO, and other leadership team members to ensure that technical delivery is aligned with Aravo’s overall strategy and vision. ·

Drive the growth and effectiveness of multiple engineering teams to ensure internal scalability, resource allocation needs, and team expansion objectives are met ·

Communicate a strategy that allows our engineering and apps teams to make solid decisions and balance paying down technical debt, building for scale, and releasing new functionality. ·

Provide a deep understanding of SaaS engineering and architecture, leading with an engineer mindset from prior experience while focusing on leadership excellence ·

Work with the quality and architecture functions to ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of Aravo’s solutions as we grow to meet the needs of our clients ·

Budgeting for third-party services, resource allocation, and tooling ·

Creating and presenting detailed development update presentations for executive leadership and board meetings ·

Create, update, and maintain engineering best practices and processes ·

Identify and remediate complex problems, issues and barriers hindering operations ·

Identify, recommend, and implement new systems, processes, tools, and technologies to improve design, organizational processes, decision-making, speed to market, and product maintenance ·

Track and analyze industry standard benchmarks to drive achievement of best-in-class product delivery and advance development methods ·

Work cross functionally with Sales and Product teams as well as customers on product identification and market direction ·

Grow, coach, and mentor a geographically diverse team across Engineering and Applications. ·

Perform regular performance reviews for direct reports and conduct skip-level meetings with team members ·

Build a high-performing environment that rewards results and is focused on retention and productivity What you’ll need: ·

15+ years of experience in Software Engineering with at least 5 years of experience developing complex SaaS solutions ·

5+ years of experience building and coaching high performing technical teams ·

Experience with low-code/no-code solutions such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Appian, etc. highly preferred ·

Deep experience managing a diverse set of engineering teams with a focus on scaling the engineering department over time and meeting delivery objectives that are aligned with the overall strategy and vision of the company ·

Deep understanding of multiple technical disciplines including platform development and application development ·

Expertise in scaling solutions for expedited growth and the issues that come with that ·

Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities, solid process orientation, and ability to work through complex and rapidly changing issues · A hands-on approach to leadership with a roll up your sleeves attitude and a strong focus on results without cutting corners
