Job Description Lumencor, Inc., based in Beaverton, Oregon, manufactures high-performance solid state lighting subsystems, "light engines," for bioanalytical instruments, medical devices, life science research tools and industrial applications like wafer defect inspection devices, quality control, and metrology. Products are sold worldwide to equipment manufacturers (OEMs), distributors, laboratories, individual researchers and industrial leaders.

We are looking for a talented and energetic self-starter with a passion for new challenges to step into the role of IT Support Specialist. As an IT Support Specialist you will help install, upgrade and troubleshoot hardware and software systems, provide on-site and remote support to our internal customers and contribute to IT projects aimed at facilitating growth and scale of our technology services across the organization.

This is **not** a remote position; a successful candidate will be working in our office in Beaverton, OR.

**Responsibilities:**

* Configure, install and upgrade software that supports critical business needs

* Set up and configure desktops and peripheral equipment - including printers, scanners and other specialty manufacturing equipment; troubleshoot and resolve hardware issues

* Provide day to day and on-call support for user requests through our IT Helpdesk system

* Assist the equipment lifecycle (provision/upgrade/refresh) using MDM tools such as JAMF and Workspace ONE

* Configuration of IT systems on the manufacturing floor to support workbench line reconfigurations or additions

* Support Lumencors SaaS tools, compliance practices, on- and off-boarding processes

* Learn, document, train and support new applications and IT procedures, always being mindful of opportunities to refine and increase efficiency

* Support collaboration hardware for individuals and meeting spaces

* Execute other tasks and projects as assigned by IT Manager

**Requirements:**

* A 4-year Bachelors Degree from an accredited university in a field of study related to information technology or computer science

* Proven ability to offer high level desktop support in an enterprise environment

* Proactive, self-managing and collaborative work style

**Preferred Experience:**

* Experience with Apple (preferred) and Windows hardware products

* Hands-on experience with common SaaS providers such as Microsoft 365 and Azure AD

* Familiarity with MDM platforms, specifically JAMF or Workspace ONE.
