**POSITION SUMMARY**

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving the success of the credit unions Sales Program using staff training, mentoring, and coaching to maximize the sales and deepen relationship with members. Responsible for the development and implementation of sales training and coaching best practices. Supports department leaders in building Y-12 FCUs sales culture and leading their respective teams in alignment with the credit unions purpose, sales and service philosophy, and core values. Manages, trains, coaches, mentors, and builds relationships to drive employee performance to increase member loyalty and growth. This position will play a key role in the development and engagement of all sales and service teams as product knowledge and financial experts to deliver WOW member experiences.

**Reports to:** Director, Sales & Service

**Supervises:** 2 (Direct) 0 (Indirect)

**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**

1. Manage the Outbound Sales Team to drive revenue and increase products per member while building lasting, loyal member relationships.

2. Manage enterprise focused sales program and serve as certified trainer.

3. Manage ancillary product vendors, consultants, and overall relationships with them.

4. Train, coach, and mentor sales and service teams as brand ambassadors to meet sales goals and service objectives by focusing on soft and technical skills, member experience, and proactively offering the right products and services that best suit our members needs. Strong financial acumen.

5. Drive change: analyze sales and service performance metrics and provide strategic direction to leadership in accomplishing defined objectives; utilize data to make decisions. Monitor, track, and report sales and operating results relative to established objectives and work collectively with leaders on a plan to improve results.

6. Manage and align incentive plans across the organization.

7. Promote fun, recognition, and celebrations with employees and leaders.

8. Perform other functions of the Marketing team as requested.

**EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE**

* A four-year degree in a related field plus two years sales and leadership experience OR

* A two-year degree in a related field plus five years of sales and leadership experience.
